DIY: Neon flower pots

Along with the rest of the Netherlands, Lennart and I decided to go to the garden centre today in the search of some colour for our garden. While Lennart was browsing some equipment  (boring!) I opened the Pinterest app on my mobile I got inspired by these two pins:

Time for a little DIY-project!

I bought three of these terracotta pots...

... white exterior wall paint  and a neon pink spray can

Painted the pots white (two layers)

I used masking tape to create diagonal patterns to go with a geometric feel. Carefully use the pink (or whatever colour you like) spray. Let it dry.

Plant the succulents ... et voila! A pop of colour in your garden.

I’m not really the DIY-kind-of-person, but this one was quite easy and it doesn’t take any longer than an afternoon. What do you guys think of the result?
