Sunday shoot: the antique drawer

This antique drawer was a gift from my aunt who once received it as a gift from her husbands grandmother. It is placed in my bedroom and I am thinking about painting it, but I haven’t made up my mind yet. I like it in its original state and on the other side I think it could be really cool to paint it in bright pink or do a peach ombre. In the meantime it functions as my lingerie drawer.

Since spring already made its entrance in my mind I got some lovely flowers at De Blommerie, one of the most beautiful framed butterflies I’ve ever seen at L4 Interior and a Diptyque scented candle at Skins Cosmetics (all three are situated in Oosterbeek) to freshen up the old with a spring breeze. The butterfly is from an actual butterfly garden I’ve been told by Elvire – owner of L4 interior. There’s more of those beauties coming up in the next shoots.

Shared Treasures

If there’s one thing I like about the Scotch and Soda stores it’s their interior (and the clothes of course). It really contributes to the feeling of their collections making it more of a lifestyle than just a brand. Every time I walk out of one of these stores I feel the need to go vintage hunting. You can imagine the joy that I felt when Lennart told me about Scotch collectables where they have been so kind to share their found treasures with us.
